Simply put, it's highly unlikely that Dropbox will fix this as they would have to update their website so it can be used by an outdated browser that is no longer supported by Apple. Are these companies supposed to continue developing for an outdated browser that doesn't support the current technology? Most websites won't display properly in IE8 because they've been updated to support the newer technology which IE8 doesn't recognize. Microsoft has released IE9, 10, 11 and Edge since then. #SAFARI 5.1.10 UPGRADE WINDOWS#Windows XP is still widely used and the highest version of Internet Explorer that it can run is IE8. The same can be said for Windows XP and Internet Explorer. You can't expect other companies to hold back their development because you don't want to or can't update your computer, especially when there are other options available to you that continue to work. It's not surprising that it will start to have problems displaying web content as the technology continues to evolve. Safari 5.1.10 was the last Safari version to support OS X 10.6.8 and is also no longer supported by Apple (last patched in September 2013). OS X 10.6.8 was released in August 2009 and last supported in February 2014. It's your best course of action to a resolution. Saying "use another browser" is not really that helpful. ![]()
